Do your windows qualify for the Federal [Greener Homes] Grant? If so, what is the rating? Are there different ratings for casement, awning and fixed windows?
With the new Greener Homes Grant, this is the perfect time to discuss the various Energy Star® ratings, and how our windows stack up against the competition.
Let’s start with the basics. When it comes to windows, there are 3 categories of efficiency in Canada:
No Rating: these windows do not qualify for any financial incentive.
Energy Star® High Efficiency: you can get up to $125 back per window under the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
Energy Star®2021 Most Efficient: you can get up to $250 back per window under the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
Here's how we stack up.
Our:
awning windows , in triple-pane
are all Energy Star® 2021 Most Efficient rated.
This means you can get up to $250 back per window under the Canada Greener Homes Grant when you select these window types.
Pro Tip
Look for windows that are rated Energy Star® 2021 Most Efficient. You'll receive the most money back (up to $250 per window) with your window replacement project.

If you’re looking to upgrade to energy-efficient windows and get the largest reimbursement possible under the Canada Greener Homes Grant, you need not look further than our RevoCell® Windows . These windows are the most energy efficient design on the market. The revolutionary microcellular PVC construction insulates better than hollow-framed vinyl windows, while being stronger and allowing for a larger glass surface. Stronger. Brighter. More Efficient. So much so that they have a better performance with double-pane glass than a lot of the triple-panes on the market.
You really get it all.
For even more energy efficiency, you can look at getting windows with triple-pane glass.
With the new Greener Homes Grant from the Federal government, you get more money for higher efficiency windows like ours. Save on your home heating and cooling, and also get more from the government.
